At Studio167, our photography services are created for the couples who book us. Every photograph is part of our creative work, and the rights to use our images are managed by Studio167.
We love working alongside talented wedding vendors and believe that collaboration should benefit everyone involved. That's why we're introducing a new, simpler way to share our work with the professionals who make each wedding possible.
HOW WE COLLABORATE
Starting with the 2027 wedding season, we will no longer routinely send photographs to wedding vendors after an event.
Instead, when we publish a post featuring your work, we will invite your Instagram account to collaborate whenever appropriate.
Simply accept the collaboration invitation to have the post appear on your profile as well.
This allows us to showcase the wedding together, credit the professionals involved and bring our audiences together around the original content.
Please note that collaboration invitations are managed by Studio167 and are not automatic or guaranteed for every post or vendor.
Still need Photographs for your Website or Portfolio?
If you would like to feature Studio167 photographs on your website, online portfolio or other communication channels, please contact us at info@167studio.com.
Tell us where and how you intend to use the images, and we will assess your request and provide a quotation or the applicable licensing terms.
Depending on the intended use, we may offer a free or paid licence. Permission to use photographs must be obtained directly from Studio167 before publication.
COPYRIGHT & IMAGE USE
Our photographs are protected by copyright law, including Italian Law No. 633/1941.
The fact that a photograph features your work, your products, your venue or a wedding you contributed to does not automatically grant you the right to use that image.
Likewise, being credited in a photograph or being tagged on social media does not, by itself, grant permission to download, reproduce or republish the image independently.
Please do not:
- Ask the couple to provide Studio167 photographs for your own promotional use. The couple's access to their wedding gallery does not automatically grant you the right to use those photographs for your business.
- Take screenshots of photographs published on our website, Instagram or other social media channels to use them on your own platforms.
- Download, copy, reproduce or republish our images without prior authorization from Studio167.
- Assume that being credited, tagged or involved in the wedding gives you permission to use our photographs.
- Alter, filter, crop or otherwise modify our photographs without our express written permission.
- Share photographs supplied under a specific licence with other businesses or third parties, or use them beyond the agreed terms.
These rules apply to both commercial and non-commercial use unless a specific authorization or applicable legal exception provides otherwise.
WHY THIS MATTERS
We invest our time, experience and creative resources in every wedding we photograph. Our images are not simply documentation of an event: they are the result of our work, our vision and our post-production.
When photographs are obtained directly from a couple or captured through screenshots, the photographer is bypassed and the images may be used without the necessary authorization.
We want to avoid this situation while continuing to build positive relationships with the professionals we work alongside.
Instagram collaborations offer a straightforward way to share our work, credit everyone involved and encourage engagement through the original publication, without the need to distribute image files.
COPYRIGHT MONITORING & LEGAL CONSEQUENCES
OUR PHOTOGRAPHS ARE COPYRIGHT-PROTECTED. UNAUTHORIZED USE MAY HAVE LEGAL AND FINANCIAL CONSEQUENCES.
Our photographs are protected by applicable copyright law, including Italian Law No. 633/1941.
We use Pixsy, a specialized service that helps us identify unauthorized uses of our images online.
When unauthorized use is identified, we reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect our rights, including requesting the removal of the content and, where legally justified, seeking compensation for damages and/or the applicable licensing fees.
Obtaining our photographs from the couple, taking screenshots or crediting Studio167 does not automatically grant permission to use them.
